Largely influenced by the landscape above and below sea level, this collection embodies a love of glaze chemistry and a desire to create interesting, tactile surfaces. The viewer is invited to enjoy the pottery both visually and by touch, while often reminiscing about what the surface suggests to them.
This bowl was hand thrown on a pottery wheel using stoneware clay. It has then been decorated with a rock-like texture and sprayed to create a graduated glaze effect ( white to light green).
