This piece has been hand thrown on a pottery wheel using a professional raku clay body. It was then sculpted and carved using a geometric tribal design that was influenced by ancient Celtic stone carvings.
The pot has been decorated with a rich copper glaze. It is expected that over time the glaze will oxidise and change colour. I believe that the change in pigment adds to the story of the pot. To slow this process please store the pot in a dry, cool place beyond direct sunlight. You have the option to restore the copper sheen with an abrasive cleaner.
Raku pots are sculptural and are not food safe or waterproof.
Suitable for dried flowers only.
